Wrentham Select Board makes 14 appointments across six town bodies in one night

WRENTHAM -- June 17, 2026, Wrentham Select Board fills 14 seats across six advisory bodies and approves two conservation restrictions in a three-and-a-half-hour remote meeting. Chair Chris Gallo and the board voted unanimously on nearly every item, with one exception: the reappointment of Adam Moon to the Recreation Commission passed 3-2, with Selectwoman Michelle Rouse and Selectman Roy Lamothe dissenting. Town Manager Michael King opened the session by announcing that Wrentham voters had approved a debt exclusion for the Roderick Elementary School project the prior day, 957 to 164, with construction targeted for fall 2027. The board approved two conservation restrictions protecting roughly 16 acres on South and Beach Streets, funded in part by $310,500 in Community Preservation Act funds, and granted a conditional common victualer license to the Kitchen at White Barn Farm, which had been seating customers without the required license.
