WRENTHAM — Select Board approves conservation restrictions, licenses, and appointments. The board unanimously approved conservation restrictions on properties at 431 South Street and 85-95 Beach Street, transferred to the Town of Wrentham and Metacomet Land Trust, expanding open-space protections. The board also approved Common Vicutaller and Special One Day Alcohol licenses for White Barn Farm pending health and safety clearance, and unanimously approved a National Grid pole-relocation petition for Green Street.

In a broad round of appointments to nine municipal boards and commissions, the board appointed or reappointed 30 individuals; one contested vote, on Adam Moon's Recreation Commission reappointment, passed 3-2 with Michelle Rouse and Roy Lamothe voting against. Town Manager Michael King reported that 85 percent of voters approved a June 15 debt-exclusion vote for the Roderick Elementary School Project, clearing the design phase for construction in autumn 2027.
