Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of September 9, 2026

WRENTHAM — Zoning Board voted 5-0 to grant garage variance at 45 Melanie Lane. Homeowners Eric and Amanda Lefebvre sought the variance due to shape and wetland constraints on the property. The board unanimously approved the variance, allowing the garage with a front setback of 32.7 feet instead of the required 40 feet in the R-43 district, a side setback of 11.6 feet instead of 25 feet, and a cul-de-sac setback of 19.9 feet instead of 42 feet.

Board members made required findings that the property's constraints create practical difficulty and that strict enforcement would cause substantial financial hardship.
