Wrentham Zoning Board continues shed variance hearing to May 13. The Zoning Board of Appeals heard an application on April 22 from owners David Brown and Marie-Elise Boyer-Brown, represented by Jake Maloney, for a variance allowing an existing 20.1-foot-high shed at 525 Thurston St to remain 8.84 feet from a side property line where 20.1 feet is required. The shed, constructed by the former owner without a permit, has stood nine years; the current owners discovered the violation while seeking to rent part of their multifamily property.
Board Chair William Casbarra noted concerns about precedent and directed further research into the property's history before a decision, continuing the hearing to May 13.
