Select Board · Meeting of September 15, 2026

Wrentham Select Board unanimously approved updated Water Rules and Regulations and ordered a surveillance technology review. The Board approved water amendments as presented by Interim Director of Public Works Paul Scott, and directed Town Manager Michael King to investigate automated surveillance technology including license plate readers and report back with recommendations, responding to resident Michael Smith's concerns about transparency and oversight. The Board also approved special event permits and alcohol licenses for Cracker Barrel Fair fireworks and White Barn Farm events, and directed King to request that the Community Preservation Committee reconsider Mirror Lake weed treatment funding, noting that ongoing maintenance does not qualify as a permitted use of CPA funds.
