Select Board adopts sustainable purchasing policy in routine May session

WRENTHAM — The Wrentham Select Board unanimously adopted a sustainable purchasing policy. All five members present, including Chair Chris Gallo and Vice Chair Michelle Rouse, voted to approve the updated policy as presented by Town Manager Michael King. The board also assigned motions for the June 1 Spring Town Meeting at King Philip High School, with Clerk Bill Harrington to move Article 1 and Member Roy Lamothe to move Article 14.
King reported that the Finance Committee recommended all financial articles for the meeting and noted construction had begun on Phase II of the Route 140 Stormwater Project.
