Planning Board approves scenic road permit for Berry Street wall and tree work.

Planning Board · Meeting of May 20, 2026

WRENTHAM — Planning Board unanimously approves scenic road permit for 280 Berry Street. The Jamgochian applicants will remove four trees and 92 linear feet of stone wall to improve sight distance, replacing the wall and planting 12 compensation trees either on Berry Street or at a town cemetery. Rick Goodreau of United Consultants presented the plan; Tree Warden Ray Rose confirmed survivability protocols under bylaw requirements.

The permit was approved 7-0 with one condition: if trees are planted on private property, they must be protected in the Renner Farm HOA document, subject to board review of the HOA language before final sign-off.
