Planning Board approves Franklin Street residential project with conditions

Planning Board · Meeting of January 7, 2026

WRENTHAM — The Wrentham Planning Board unanimously approved a two-lot residential development at 720, 760, and 800 Franklin Street on January 7. The board voted 6-0 for the DiPlacido Development Corp. and Alixon Peabody Trust project, which included special permits for use, common driveway, aquifer protection, earth removal, and stormwater management. Attorney Edward Cannon and applicants Thomas and Matthew DiPlacido presented the project, which the board noted had addressed all peer review comments.

In related action, the board unanimously released remaining 53G account funds from 95 Foxboro Road, 315 Green Street, and 24 Common Street. A continued public hearing for the 234-unit rental and retail project at 55 and 43 Kendrick Street was moved to February 4, 2026.
