Planning Board advances three zoning amendments to Select Board
Planning Board · Meeting of March 4, 2026
WRENTHAM — Planning Board unanimously recommends three zoning amendments for 2026 Annual Town Meeting. Chair Thomas Maloney oversaw a 6-0 vote endorsing an accessory dwelling unit amendment updating 2019 rules to align with 2025 state law changes, and a separate 6-0 approval to add "self-storage facility" to permitted uses in the Route 1 district. Both amendments were referred to the Select Board.
A South Street retail corridor rezoning proposal was continued to April 1 after public comment from neighbors concerned about development impacts and the absence of traffic studies.
