Wrentham Council on Aging votes to recommend Thompson appointment. Council Chair Kendra Farling and members voted unanimously to recommend Cindy Thompson for the vacant position, with the Board of Selectmen scheduled to conduct an interview. The council also unanimously approved a letter to town leadership requesting removal of three pine trees near the Senior Center that pose a safety hazard following a recent brush removal project.
The council received a presentation from MetroWest Center for Independent Living about free transportation coordination services for seniors and decided to include the information in the Senior Center newsletter. The council approved February's meeting minutes.
