Wrentham Conservation Commission preserves Redbird Farm woodland, denies Birchwold party. The Conservation Commission voted to preserve a 3/4-acre native woodland at Redbird Farm in lieu of creating a replicated wetland area, directing Conservation Agent Darryl Luce to negotiate a three-year invasive species eradication plan with the developer. The Commission denied a request for an overnight gathering at Birchwold for approximately 90 people, finding such use inappropriate for the conservation property.
The Commission approved a Certificate of Compliance for property improvements at 80 Oak Pt. and continued three Notice of Intent hearings.
